A new single of IU was released on 10th October 2018. It was a surprising news for everyone because she wasn’t scheduled for a music comeback at that time. However, this comeback was to celebrate her 10th anniversary.

With her new song, the South Korea “Nation’s Little Sister” wanted to give a surprise gift for her fans and took a chance to give a surprise attack for her haters. BBIBBI (or the sound of beep) is a term that IU used to her haters as a warning, and that they should not cross a line to her privacy life and should keep their manners.

There are a lot of message inside the song that makes us think about how hard an idol or popular public figure’s life can be. In my opinion, even the single cover gives us the sense of how it feels.

A blue wall is located behind a purple fence and the fence is also behind the grass. Then, we can see a girl with braided red-hair tries to hide behind the blue wall. In her hand, she holds a yellow card that has BEEP written on it. Sadly, there is not enough space behind her, means she doesn’t have space for herself even when she is hiding. Despite all of that, the idol/popular public figure still has to receive negative comments about their lives too. Now, can we be more considerate with them? Remember, they are human as well 🙂

This song is beautifully written by IU herself, composed by Lee Jong Hun, and arranged by Lee Chae Gyu. The concept of the song is so fresh with a groovy R&B feels! It’s no surprise that this song is on the top of the charts. Even up to the day this post releases, this song is still in the Global Viral 50 on Spotify chart, made her the only one Korean soloist in the chart. She is indeed a music digital monster!
