Zion.T is a Korean male soloist that is famous for his unique-soulful voice. He has been in music industry since 2011. One of his most popular songs of all time is “Eat” and it was released on 19th May 2015. This song is written by himself, composed by him and Brother Su, then arranged by Seo Won Jin and Brother Su.

The song is very simple, soothing, and sweeeeeeetttt. At its first sound with a piano and finger-snapping, I know I will fall hard with this song. Then, what makes me love this song more is because the lyrics – it’s so cute and so relatable for me as a office worker (and a college student at the same time).
Like the music, the lyric is actually simple yet overflowed with cuteness. It reminds us to eat. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you heard it. DO NOT FORGET TO EAT! (what a great song!)
In the MV, we can obviously see the girl is definitely tired when she arrives at home. It almost feels like she doesn’t have any energy or motivation to go through the day anymore. Then, Zion.T reminds the girl to eat although he’s not with the girl physically at the time but we know that he cares and watches her (in a lovely way, not a creepy one).
This song delivers a message for the listener to take care of ourselves when we have a rough day, when it’s tiring or when the expectations for us are so high. Because sometimes, even at the end of an exhausting day and we’re already in home, we do not feel homy yet and still frustrated about the day.
The lyric is so on point and it’s more like a direct conversation with us which makes us engaged more with it.
Isn’t it the sweetest? “Eat” is indeed like a chocolate to my ear.
On the other hand, I have a fun time learning the lyrics. It uses a lot of daily conversation term so it helps me learning Korean vocabularies. Check the lyric below and the song on Spotify as well! Hope you like it!
